Senior Scientist - Pharmacutical Development
CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Scientist to join the Research and Development team of a leading CRO at their site in Reading on a permanent basis.
About the client: Our client is a cutting-edge Contract Research Organisation (CRO), providing research, analysis and consultancy to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and food sectors. Their diverse pipeline of projects varies from creating new products, validating medicines and completing analytical investigations. They are a global leaderin their field, serving clients from across 60 countries.
As a senior scientist, you will play a key role in ensuring that method development projects within the Pharmaceutical Development laboratory are performed and supervised effectively andaccurately within agreed timescales and to appropriate quality standards. You will also coach a team of scientists, providing technical direction, and will be responsible for reviewing and authorising of certificates of analysis, interpretive scientific reports, method development and validations and authorizing competencies within the area of expertise.
About you:
To be considered for the position, you should ideally have the following skills and expertise:
- Educated to Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.
- Excellent understanding of chromatographic lab equipment, HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, techniques
The standard hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9-5. Thereis scope for flexible start and finishing times.
