CK Group USA are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our clients growing research team in our mission to serve patients with intractable cancers. This role is critical-path for our client and will have a large impact internally.

Our client are developing targeted therapeutics for patients with challenging, complex cancers. They employ a single cell sequencing platform to dissect the biology of immune cells in human tumors and identify novel, exciting oncology targets. Our client are currently advancing multiple programs toward early human studies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Design and construct antibody libraries
  • Manage and conduct yeast display campaigns to identify and optimize antibodies with desired properties
  • Characterize antibody clones using techniques such as flow cytometry
  • Collect and analyze data from selections and present findings in group and project team meetings
  • Design and clone mammalianexpression constructs for antibodies including using Benchling for sequence verification, storage, and notebook entries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to technology and antibody discovery platform development
  • Document work in a timely fashion in electronic lab notebook

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, protein chemistry or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
  • Experiencein antibody discovery, e.g. engineering, expression, and/or characterization of antibodies and proteins in general
  • Expertise in molecular biology and molecular biology concepts, e.g. primer design, PCR, Gibson assembly, and bacterial transformation
  • Experience with phage or yeast display strongly preferred
