Senior Project Manager
CK Group are working in partnership with a leading UK life sciences biotechnology company to recruit for a Senior Project Manager to join them at their site based in London on a permanent basis. The client does offer hybrid working.
The Company:Based in London this is an exciting opportunity to join a life science company that provides medical response services for medical information to global pharmaceutical companies.
The Role and responsibilities:
- Managing clients and contributingto the growth of the business by developing existing and new services as well as growing the client base.
- As a senior member of the team, you will assist the General Manager (GM) with all commercial aspects of the business and to provide leadership and support to the team.
- Act as the main contact point for assigned clients for themselves and their assigned project managers, ensuring that the GM is aware of key issues through proactive communication and maintaining good relationships.
- Liaise with the operations, quality and finance, teams to ensure contracted services follow the agreed client procedures in conjunction with the GM
Your Background:
- Life Science Degree or above and/or proven demonstrated Project Management skills within the pharmaceutical / clinical trial industry, including expertise in the support of studies in multiple service lines or in the area of clinical trial management (5 years’ plus within a similar role is required)
- Demonstrated experience of managing the external client relationship.
- Knowledge of the drug development process
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- A valid passport and ability to travel approximately 20% of your time (international and domestic)
- A knowledge of Medical Monitoring would be advantageous
