CK Group are recruiting for a Safety Risk Lead to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Hurley on a contract basis for 12 months. This role can be worked remotely.

Salary: Hourly Up to £62.00 per hour PAYE

Location: Hurley. Located in the countryside close to Maidenhead the Hurley site is home to around 140 employees. Hurley is an office-based site with global and regional teams representing vaccines research& development and customer services, marketing, quality operations, regulatory affairs, medical information and safety.

Safety Risk Lead Role:

  • Act as a Point of Contact for Safety in the Asset Teams.
  • Provide disease area specific pharmacovigilance expertise, and applies this to various business unit products.
  • Ensure consistency of Safety Risk Messaging for a particular product or class of products.
  • Performs ad hoc special scholarly Safety Surveillance & Risk Management activities.
  • Identify opportunities for Consistency and Standards for Safety Surveillance & Risk Management approachesand processes.

Your Background:

  • Education DVM (veterinarian), PharmD (pharmacist) or PhD or MSc degree (Health Care Related).
  • Disease Area specific knowledge is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Safety Risk Management internal and external environment, including applicable regulations and guidance's.

  • Clinical development and post-marketing experience to have an understanding of safety context across the drug lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated leadership in day-to- day activities and collaborative skills.
