CK Group are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join our client at their site based in Worcestershire on a full time, permanent basis for a competitive salary

The Company: Our client is a specialist company who develop and manufacture flooring products. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leading company.

Location: This role is located in Worcestershire. The site is easily commutable from Worcester, Evesham, Warwick, Cheltenham, Redditch, Birmingham and Coventry.Compliance Manager: You will be responsible for the regulatory and sustainability within the company. You will also drive both regulatory and agreed strategic Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) improvements through the supply chain to deliver on ESG targets set by the client for its customers.

Your main duties will be to:

  • To take full responsibility for leading, coordinating and delivering all regulatory and sustainability functions within the company
  • To be the first and main point of contact within the company for technical & sustainability staff in provision of supply chain related technical/sustainability support.
  • Review, develop and improve the regulatory affairs and sustainability processes for the whole company supply chain, including compilation of new procedures and processes where necessary.
  • Identify forthcoming threats from an ESG and regulatory perspective and find solutions to address them.
  • To identify appropriate new areas of opportunity for thecompany, particularly in relation to environmental and product performance.
  • To ensure that regulatory and ESG tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely fashion within the task tracker.
  • To keep up to date with new Global product standards, environmental requirements, and regulations and identify threats/opportunities.

Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Minimum 5 years recent experience in compliance/regulatory or sustainability in any chemicalsindustry involving adhesives, coatings, plastics or paints
  • Degree qualified in environmental science or physical sciences
  • Strong track record of achievement in the regulatory affairs or sustainability
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Competent with MS Office
  • Driving license desirable
  • Must be willing to travel in UK
  • Some heavy lifting may be required
