Public Health Liaison

CK Group are recruiting for a Public Health Liaison to join a biopharmaceutical company at their site based in London on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary:

Up to £40.76 per hour PAYE

Public Health Liaison Role:

• To be responsiblefor the execution of the Public Health Field Medical Plan, with a strong focus on the delivery of defined strategic medical projects.
• To work with the Public Health Field Team Manager to develop the yearly territory plan
• To provide field-based non-promotional medical and scientific partnership for the business, with the aim of providing high quality, accurate and timely scientific advice to healthcare professionals, providers and other relevant stakeholders regarding the company’s products, associated disease area(s) and public health strategy
• Identifies/specifies general areas of company interest where Investigator Initiated Study Programs (IISP) may be supported, facilitate applications from investigators and at all time ensureapplications are carried out in compliance with applicable UK regulations and Companies SOPs.
• Ensure that all activities and interactions are conducted in compliance with applicable local, global and national laws, regulations, guidelines, codesof conduct (including but not limited to the ABPI Code of Practice) company policies and accepted standards of best practice.

Your Background:

• Medical degree, pharmacy degree, nursing degree or higher science degree (i.e. MSc, PhD).
• High level of knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice.
• Proven relationship building skills with scientific leaders (either in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare/academic setting).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Science Liaison
• Understanding of the wider NHS environment and key opportunities for pharma and the NHS to partner effectively within the scope of the ABPI Code of Practice
