Product Manager

CK Groups Technical Division are recruiting for a Product Manager to join a materials manufacturer in the carbon technology industry at their site based in Cambridge on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client produces graphene technology foruse in the semiconductor, sensor and energy harvesting markets.

Location:

This role is located in Somersham which is easily commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas.

Product Manager Role:

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward product strategy ensuring successful commercial delivery of technology through close liaison with partners, stakeholders, current and potential customers alongside internal communication with the technology team; defining product requirements, specifications, and capabilities to maximise revenue and return on investment.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Degree in a relevant discipline such as business or a science/ engineering/ maths discipline.
• Understanding of technology development and transfer processes.
• Experience in technical environment, ideally a semiconductor or electronics, , establishing and building relationships internally and externally and coordinating projects successfully.
• Capability to quickly grasp new scientific concepts and technologies with the ability to identify commercial potential.
• Extremely strong interpersonal skills; outgoing and confident in working closely with people, internally and externally to the business
• Able to travel within the UK and internationally, potentially at short notice
• UK Driving licence
