Pharmacovigilance Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Pharmacovigilance Scientist to join a leading global biopharmaceutical company. The role will be home based but travel to their head office in Bracknell will be required on occasion. This is a 12 month contract position(with the view to extend) and has been deemed inside IR35, so working PAYE via CK.

Location:

This is a home based position, but there maybe requirement to attend the head offices in Bracknell on occasion.

Salary:

Up to £350 per day.

The Role:

As a Pharmacovigilance Scientist, you will perform and maintain areas of responsibility within the local PV system, ensuring the effective delivery of the set objectives with high standard quality. The role will be fulfilled in compliance with the internal company procedures and external requirements (e.g. local and international regulations).

Responsibilities will include:- ICSR processing and follow-up

• Performing Literature review and managing PV suppliers and related agreements
• Actively collaborating with business partners to navigate and comply with PV relevant procedures, industry codes of practice and laws.

Your Background:

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Come from a background in pharmacovigilance and possess up-to-date knowledge of local and relevant international Pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Have a Life Science related degree oran equivalent Nursing/ Pharmacist qualification.
• Have great networking and communication skills to to drive and execute cross functional interaction with the business.
