Laboratory Technician
CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a resin and composites company at their site based in Heanor, Derbyshire on a contract basis for approximately 6 months.
Salary: £11.30 to £13.30 per hour PAYE
Hours: 37.5 per week 8:30am to 4:30pm
Laboratory Technician Role:
- Analytical testing of epoxy resins mostly by Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) but the job could also involve FT-IR and HPLC
- Data gathering, logging results and paper work associated withtesting
- General housekeeping of laboratory
Your Background:
- A-levels or similar qualification in Chemistry, Maths, Physics or similar
- This role would suit a student on a summer break or someone looking to gain experience
- Experience with the following analytical techniques DSC, HPLC or FT-IR would be advantageous
