Laboratory Manager
CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Manager from a HCPC registered Biomedical Science background to join a fast-growing biotech start up based in London on a permanent basis.
Our client are currently expanding their testing portfolio to include additional molecular biology, biochemistry and immunochemistry testing.
They are seeking a Laboratory Manager for their multidisciplinary diagnostic testing unit. The role involves working within a small team of managers to ensure smooth laboratory operation spanning a variety of responsibilities including staff management, sample management, results analysis, quality assurance, inventory maintenance, liaising with clients, supervising IBMS candidate portfolios, and verification of newtests/kit suppliers, among others.
This role will be shift pattern based with early or late day shifts (no nights) and weekdays and weekends, working 5 days per week.
To be considered for the position you should have the following skills andexperience:
- Fully qualified BMS with HCPC registration
- Experience working in a biochemistry or immunochemistry-based diagnostic testing laboratory
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory best practices
- Experience with quality management systems and auditing
